Project PIN is run solely on the support of the community, through fundraising, grants, donations, and food drives. With your help, we can continue to serve our community in providing quality, nutritious food goods and personal care items to individuals and families in crisis.
Non-Perishable and Personal Care Donations
Project PIN is run solely on the support of the community, through fundraising, grants, donations, and food drives. Below are non-perishable and personal/household care items that we are in constant need of.
When donating to the pantry, we would greatly appreciate larger quantities rather than larger sizes of items. With more, smaller goods we can serve more individuals and families with each pantry distribution.

Farm Donation
Fresh produce is the highest volume and most nutritious food source in fighting hunger.
Through local farm partnerships and the CT Food Bank’s ‘Farm to Food Pantry Program’, the PIN-Pantry has access to quality fruits and vegetables while supporting local Connecticut food growers and producers.
We accept produce that is:

Food Industry Donation
Every year, millions of pounds of food that is unwanted or unsalable is discarded by the food industry.
Local Food Industry Partners can help alleviate hunger in our communities while continuing to thrive as a business by donating unwanted food and surplus to Project PIN.
